Project data: The proposal intake information you enter, including your name, business name, client name, project descriptions, deliverables, and pricing.
Generated content: The proposals produced by the AI and stored to your account.
Usage data: Basic information about how you interact with the Service, including page visits and feature usage.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide and improve the Service, to process your proposal generation requests, to manage your account and subscription, to send essential service communications, and to comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your proposal content to train AI models without your explicit consent.
4. Third-Party Services
Pitchd uses the following third-party services to operate: Supabase for database and authentication, Anthropic for AI proposal generation, and Paddle for payment processing. Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. Your data is shared with these providers only to the extent necessary to deliver the Service.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and generated proposals for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law. Anonymised usage data may be retained for longer for analytics purposes.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission and secure authentication. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk and are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
7. Your Rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and applicable South African law, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate data, to request deletion of your data, and to object to certain processing of your data. 8. Cookies
Pitchd uses cookies and similar technologies solely for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may prevent you from using the Service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice in the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
